Barack Obama versus John McCain Tax Cuts
Here is the full breakdown of Obama vs. McCain tax policy explained.

Who Pays for Progress in Capitalism?
In our capitalist society, whenever you espouse liberal ideas you are called anti-American or you plan on destroying market competitiveness. Countless single mothers have been given a helping hand in their worse hours so that they can feel human and have the dignity of hope.
Whoopi Goldberg proudly tells everyone that she was once in that position and she used the system to get back on her feet and we can all point to her success today. What if she did not have that chance, where would she be now? We know the benefit but we always listen to the well-to-do in our society who always complain that the government is not our aunt Suzie.
What could be wrong with a system that looks after the most vulnerable in our society and offer hope to anyone that's looking to better their standard of living. In life there's no free lunch so our infrastructure has to be maintained and paid for by the government. That is we the people: the government for the people, by the people in other words, the taxpayers.
The Tax Policy Center recently did some number crunching to demonstrate how Obama and McCain's tax policy would play out in the real world. It showed that people below the poverty line, under $19K would get $567 back under Obama whereas under McCain they would get a meager $19.
This simple arithmetic clearly shows who McCain cares about, where the emphasis for his presidency would focus and whom he would truly represent. If you earn between $227,000 to $603,000 per year, McCain would give you back $7,871 but if you make $19,000 per year, he would only give you $19. Listen - action speaks louder than words - Sarah Palin is a woman with 5-kids but is she really like you? Is she a Walmart mom as the Republicans like to refer to you?
The question that you must ask yourself today before you vote on November 4th. Which person do you feel most deserves a tax break and which person can better take care of herself? One person earns $227,000 gets $7,871 the other makes $19,000 but gets only $19. Who is McCain representing, the rich or the poor?
On the other hand, Obama gives you $567 if you earn $19,000 and he asks the woman that earns $227,000 to pay $12. Is this unreasonable? Can you see who has your interests at heart? Obama knows you are hurting and struggling to make ends meet so he gives you the break you deserve. This is a simple example but a powerful one in terms of a focus on the national issues because more people earn $19,000 a year than make $227,000.
You could argue that you could bake the best cherry pie but the best pie is determined by those eating the pies. Don't be fooled again, you need change that you can believe in.

Sarah Palin Bad for Polar Bears and Environment

Sarah Palin and John McCain are now bickering about whether Obama was calling her a pig in lipstick. Hasn't she just announced that "the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull is lipstick". How is it good for the republicans to say whatever they feel to without question? Is this the entitlement that Catholic priest, Michael Pfleger was talking about in May this year?
She introduced herself as a woman of the wild, a hunter and we are told that she thinks that climate change is not man-made. Now, we are hearing that drilling for oil and gas will not alter the arctic landscape that is home to the polar bears. Her spokeswoman said that the polar bears are not endangered in the Alaska only in Canada. She has also approved State Wild Life aerial hunting and shooting of wolves supposedly to protect the moose and caribou populations.
More than half the world's polar bear population lives in Canada's arctic. This is good for them when you consider Sarah Palin's position although it has been revealed that scientists warn that the future of this iconic animal is in jeopardy.
Polar Bears International gives detail information on where the bears live, how many remain (only around 20,000 to 25,000), their scientific name, the size of polar bears and how endangered. On the Canadian side, David Suzuki a well-known environmental scientist is using his foundation to draw attention to this crisis and fight to get legislative changes enacted to protect their arctic environment.
The David Suzuki Foundation conducted a comprehensive study of provincial and federal protection for the animals and a report of their analysis, Canada's Polar Bear: Falling Through the Cracks? is available online.
Some of these findings are troubling to anyone that understands the delicate balance between nature and our quality of life. There is an increasing threat to their survival (polar bears have one of the slowest reproductive rates of any mammal) by melting sea ice, pollutants, increased shipping traffic and oil/gas exploration.

Numerous Election Irregularities

Diebold's GEMS - Vote-Counting Software Bugs
It seems that Obama's Democrats have more than just John McCain's republicans to worry about come election day, November 4, 2008. Oblivious to the press, there are countless election irregularities taking place in the election process.
According to votersunite.org, in Palm Beach County, Florida elections officials have been stumped about 3,400 missing ballots. Problems have been reported with the Sequoia Optical-Scan Voting Systems and some 16,632 votes have been reportedly unaccounted for in the County's Primary Election.
In Colorado, Holly Lowder - State Election Director abruptly resigned after it was revealed that she was having an extra-marital affair with the contractor that provided the registration roll software to the State. This is in the face of what promises to be one of the largest, most important and potentially closest elections in the state's history.
The dysfunctional state of certification, de-certification and re-certification of e-voting system in the Centennial State for the last 2-years are under the current Secretary of State, Republican Mike Coffman who is overseeing his own election for the U.S. House this November. What could be more incredulous?
This gets more intriguing - the Texas-based Premier Elections Solutions (Diebold) sold $1.5 billion worth of voting equipment nationwide since 2003 but refused to address a problem in the tabulation software affecting all 19 of its models dating back a decade. Diebold has confirmed that their tabulator software, known as GEMS, used all across the nation, in as many as 34 states, does not count votes correctly.
Worse than not counting, it actually loses votes by not counting them but does not alert the system operator that the votes were not counted. Instead, it tells the system administrator that the votes were correctly counted. This is a bug in Diebold's software and this has not been fixed to date, less than 60-days away from the 2008 Presidential elections. What, are we serious about the democratic process? Aren't we the democracy that the whole world watches and looks to for advice and guidance on how to run FREE and FAIR elections?
Film-maker, David Earnhardt and a crew have produced a documentary on the integrity of the elections called: Uncounted: The New Math of American Elections that premiered on several pay cable network outlets starting on August 25th. It is a searing indictment of the election process as it affected 2004 and 2006 elections and it appears is well on track to also affect the outcome of 2008 elections. You can watch it on several Starz cable network channels from August 25 through early October 2008.
It is in the interest of everyone that is registered to vote and plans to cast a ballot on election day, November 4th to read The Brad Blog as the amount of discrepancies and irregularities are numerous and far-reaching. This is an even more compelling reason that everyone - EVERYONE OF VOTING AGE needs to register and GO TO THE POLLS.

Sarah Palin GOP Distraction Bait don't Get Hooked

So it’s false that Palin has banned books from the Library when she was Major. Let`s break out the champagne and hand the Republicans The Grapes of Wrath for being on the side of truth for once. Fact is that she asked the Librarian if she would be agreeable to a ban of books and she said no. Why would Sarah Palin ask this question of the Librarian in the first place? Does she have problems with books? Doesn’t she realize that books are for reading, informing, expanding one’s outlook, stimulating the mind, providing enjoyment, teaching new and expanding on old concepts.
If Sarah Palin doesn’t believe in sex education in schools and she believes in abstinence, she should have looked for books on the subjects of her belief and have Bristol, her now pregnant teen, read them as a way of endorsing and enforcing her value system to her child. Perhaps, this would have helped her to comply because she would be more informed than simply being told to abstain.
Teenagers are finding their own identities and they love to do the opposite to what adults tell them to do. Preaching never works, you have to gain their confidence and be their friend, not their parent as they enter these adolescent years. If you are seen as one of the girls, then you will have their ear and hopefully their respect. It also helps to introduce certain books on their changing bodies, their sexuality and about their self-esteem as additional tools they can use to reinforce your guidance. Banning books is never a good idea – that’s as bad as the Nazis burning them.
It is extremely important for all those independent voters like myself to review everything, watch every video, focus on the issues of health care, taxes, jobs, safe troop withdrawal, equal pay for equal work for women and not be misled by the distraction in the Sarah Palin Reality Show. If you like me are familiar with fishing, this is bait so don't be a fish and get hooked because you could end up gutted on someone's table. For the simple-minded, this is figurative but in real terms you could end up bankrupt - think.

Watch Videos Learn Republican Truths

Who's better for America - Barack Obama or John McCain?
As we draw closer to elections, it is important to look more closely at republican politics, Sarah Palin and John McCain or democrats Obama and Biden as there's a lot at stake. The American way of life is under threat on all fronts. We have an out-going president, Bush incumbent, McCain (voted with Bush 90% of the time) that has the lowest rating of any politician and our economy is heading for disaster.
In the interest of bringing knowledge to the electorate, I have done some research so that I could offer instances of these candidates sounding off on what matters to us, middle-class Americans. We are the ones that suffer the most in a failing economy like this one that George Bush has created. Read, dissect the issues and draw your own conclusions don't rely on places like FOX-News and CNN. These networks seek to taint the process by injecting their opinions and trying to influence the outcome in favor of big business.
We can't gas up our cars, we are paying high taxes while we have no health care. A few months ago, a woman died on the floor of a hospital in NYC while health care professionals walked around. Is this health care we can believe in? Do we need more of the same?
We would have to be suckers for punishment to endure another 4-years of this same treatment. It is time to change things in America and do so now in all areas - no more wars. While we were busy spending $10B a month in Iraq, we have been now lost 600,000 jobs this calendar year and we have 6.1% unemployed.
Pay close attention to political research, my favorite youtube videos. While some are funny to lighten things up - God knows we need to laugh a bit at ourselves - careful reviews will show the major differences between Obama democrats and McCain republicans.

Sick Joke Sinks McCain's Campaign

Ed Pilkington of The Guardian said that McCain's sick joke about Chelsea Clinton a decade ago would have buried him politically had he been a British politician. He can't imagine the British papers making a decision to downplay such a story because it was in poor taste and allow him the opportunity to continue his quest for the White House.
This is what John McCain said at a fund-raising dinner in Arizona a decade ago. "Do you know why Chelsea Clinton is so ugly?" he told a handful of big Republican funders, "because Janet Reno is her father". Is this the gentleman that everyone is now talking about? The noble war hero who is so full of judgment, tolerance, compassion and worthy of everyone's trust.
Why aren't we being told about any of these things by the media? He now thinks that he can court Hillary Clinton's supporters with Sarah Palin. Back then, June 1998, in 15-words the remark packed several layers of misogyny. It disparaged Chelsea's looks who was a 18-year old teenager at the time just out of high school. It portrayed Reno as a man who was serving as the nation's first female attorney general and it suggested that Hillary Clinton was engaged in a lesbian affair while the Monica Lewinsky scandal was at it's height. Good job, Senator McCain.
Do you realize that any of these elements would be potentially terminal for a public figure. Not in America, here he is 10-years later touting himself as a champion of women's rights by appointing Sarah Palin as his hockey mom a.k.a. running mate a.k.a. Pit Bull with lipstick. There''s a famous saying that it is good to forgive but you should never forget.

McCain's Pit Bull - Small Town Major Sarah Palin

If Sarah Palin cannot manage her own household that is only 5-kids strong, how will she be able to manage the complicated affairs of the greatest nation in the free world?
McCain was all talk about his experience and the lack of Obama's experience but now he picks Palin who has far less experience. Being the Governor of Alaska is very shallow, it's a State with a small population and where the biggest crisis is the fact that Palin is now under investigation for trying to get her brother-in-law fired from his job as a State Trooper.
What does this say about McCain's judgment? Is he competent to lead? It seems that he acts on a whim and jumps at anyone that opposes him that's why he pulled the interview with CNN because Campbell Brown asked the GOP Senior Adviser to McCain, Tucker to name an instance when Governor Palin exercised her executive experience as controller of the Alaskan National Guard. Tucker was stumped and couldn't answer the question.
It's too bad that Palin's 17-year old is pregnant but it seems that Palin has fallen victim of her own misguided teachings - abstain, no sex ed in schools, no abortion even in cases of incest or rape - what century are we in? Is she not concern about sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV-AIDS? Her rhetoric is as scary as McCain's decision-making is irresponsible.
